You used Morimoto Mini because of size or you think a larger model will fit? There is also a problem in lenght?
I used the Morimoto Mini kit because it offered relatively easy installation because of the threaded end. Its was also a size I was comfortable with as I was traveling down a dark untraveled road with this project. I think there is about an inch of clearance from the lens to the lens on the projector. The bigger projectors will not work unless you plan on cutting into the reflectors.

The Morimoto Mini kit also offered a great value. I wanted to keep the cost down without sacrificing quality. That makes this kit an affordable alternative to the Factory Projector lights for now.
