replacing rear dome light fixture

Can you replace the rear dome light in the Focus with one that is like the front one, where one or both lights can be manually turned on and off? It's not an issue to me, but I've noticed (when travelling with people) that it can be annoying, especially since in mine, the only way to turn on the rear dome light while driving is to turn on both lights with the front light button, which can be distracting to me for longer periods of time.

Suggestions? I personally don't think it would be that hard... I personally think the wiring is probably exactly the same, and so is the wiring and mounting. The only difference i see between the two is the front one has buttons on it, and the rear light has nothing on it.
