Well, I got a new truck in 2008 and the car sat for about 1.5 yrs. I did the timing belt, water pump, engine mount, and an oil change. I drove the car for about three to four months and then I had a wheel bearing in the back that started going out; then the car sat for almost nine months. I replaced the rear wheel bearings (rear drums and shoes), the car started up and ran just fine (after I replaced the battery).
All I need to do know are tires, a SVT suspension kit, and an exhaust system from the header on out the back (replace the flex pipe and back).
This car is not my daily driver and is a weekend car/travel car. It may not be the best looking car, but its paid for.
