I tried E-85 when I was living in Colorado for two reasons: A. it was much cheaper; B. I was told that I would gain HP through its use. All I really noticed was the fuel gauge moving a lot faster than with normal petrol.
When the car was new, the dealer filled with E10 and I started adding E85 as soon as I could. A little over 2000 miles on the odometer now and just about all E85. This is summer blend so it is close to 85% ethanol but winter is closer to 70% because summer blend is to low of vapor pressure thus poor starting qualities.
