Like I said the higher price of Euro Fords is largely due to taxes we don't pay on new cars. If you look here on page 45 of the pdf
or page 81 of the webpage you can see that a Focus including taxes is generally 3000-7000 Euros more than one without taxes depending on country. Denmark btw looks to be super high in taxes: 13604 Euros base Focus price but 36289 w/ taxes. These countries have taxes based on the size of the engine and the amount of CO2 produced and more. Without these taxes they're fairly similar to the prices paid here.
