I opened the door (IA, touched handle to unlock) and the car started blasting electronic noises out of all the speakers at full volume. Volume controls did not have any effect on it, nor did powering the car on into accessory mode (hitting start button without foot on brake). Sounds only went away when I actually started the engine.

Hope it didn't blow out any of the speakers!
I had 2 seperate occurence of this on my SEL. Dealer has no idea, so far, what is the problem. If you follow this link (, you will see exactly what mine did. Luckilly, it hasnt ''freaked '' like this in some months. This problem arose when I pressed the lock button on my key. So my guess (and its really a guess) is that it must be related in some way with the locking mecanism.
