Hey, I'm new here, and I just thought I'd share my car with you guys.
I'm open to any opinions, and advice with what I should do next.

I bought it last March with 155k miles and now it's got 159k. It's a manual, and about as base as you can get. I think the only option it has on it is the power windows. Well, here's some pics for ya

The day I bought it (Mid March):

My first aesthetic mod, nightshaded taillights:

Second aesthetic mod, restored steelies. They were very rusty under the hubs, so I grinded them down and repainted them:

And my newest addition, done yesterday is my headlights:

I got this at the Spring Into Focus event with my friend, Flamebird13

My next project is to fix the few rust patches, and touch up some paint chips. I should be getting some tints soon too, but I'm not sure how dark I should go (suggestions?) I also should be getting a new radio, along with my dad's old bazooka sub.

Ahh brings back memories of my 94 scort. I think you'll be happy with 20% tint. I had that on my black sedan Focus. Lowering kits are rather inexpensive if I remember correctly. I also did the same with my steel wheels.

I used a CherryBomb Glasspack on my scort. These were back in my highschool days so forgive the jerry-rig looking job.

I'll put them up tomorrow [:)]

As for tints, I should be getting them within a few weeks, with my graduation money. Not too sure about lowering it, cuz the car is still technically my dad's and he probably wouldn't let me. And wheels, I really want but don't have the money for :( not on my Burger King wages anyways.

very nice tail lights man i like how they blend. and as for wheels, you should look all over craigslist, even if it's an hour or two away. sometimes people are willing to drive a bit. plus civic wheels are super common, at least around here.

I did a couple more things to mine, and I thought I'd share.

My exhaust recently developed a hole, so while I was getting it fixed, I just told them to cut the muffler off. Anyways, here's what it sounds like.

I also finally got my head unit and dash adapter installed. I got the parts from Crutchfield, and it was pretty straight forward. Here's what it looks like.

I haven't done much else to it than a complete detail. I'm just about done fixing the rust, which looked like this before I started working on it.

I grinded all the spots down, filled them, primed, painted, and I just need to clear coat it. I should be done this weekend.

Anyways, feedback is always good. Let me know what you think

Yeah the tires are 70's. The ones I have on my steelies right now have more tread, and are 60's. I don't know how much it is to swap out tires, but I don't have much more money right now, so I may have to stick with the 70's on them. They came pretty dirty, so I'm going to paint them. I'm thinking either white, or black. Suggestions?
