How to repair manual glass passanger mirror?

My mirror on the passenger side (manual adjust/non-power) is messed up internally, and I can not adjust it. Now its angled so from the drivers side I just see the curb.

It seems like the mirror is stuck in the down position, something is preventing it inside from being able to move up/down/left/right.

When I move the interior adjust control nothing happens
When I move it from the outside its like its stuck

I found a video on YouTube about how to remove and replace the entire mirror assembly, but Id like to try to repair my mirror, not buy a new one.

Any advice on how I can adjust the mirror angle up and make it stay up? Even if I can affix it to angle permanently how I want it, that would be great.

Many thanks.

Update...mirror is now fixed.
'
'I bought an ebay new non-OEM for 25$ shipped.

Fitment with the non-Ford part is not 100% flush like OEM, but its okay.

Difficulty level for a noob is 2/10 LOL, you need a 12mm socket and a star screw driver. Trim snaps on and off by hand.
