If you drove your car for an hour and opened the hood, is it really OK to spray water anywhere, especially with the engine running?
I understand that the vents for the RS500 are to help evacuate the extra heat from the turbo, and without the turbo our NA engines don't require it. But I suppose we also don't need bodykits, spoilers, supercharger kits, or any other engine mods because they aren't race cars either.
And yes, it is ok to spray water nearly anywhere on your engine after it's been running an hour, with the exception of your intake and fuse block. We did, after all, just determine that the RS500 has hood vents.
