The dummy upshift light will probably be disabled if you install a cluster from an automtic car. However you could also remove the upshift bulb from a manual cluster to achieve the same result, I suspect. The ABS vs non-ABS is a serious difference and I'd try to get the right type.

In swapping clusters, I'd try to find one for a car with similar options. There are enough selling on ebay with engine specs shown to do that. if you don't mind spending a few extra bux for a close match or living with a cluster that shows more mileage. A used cluster can't be reprogrammed and it looks like many folks posting in this thread are missing that point.
