Koni yellows will run you about that w/o springs.
You say you got the car mainly for for autocross and track use? I'd skip the strut and spring combo and go with some coilovers if it is a dedicated race car. My SVT is a dedicated race car, so i'm looking to go with some custom KW's. but those will cost you around 3.5k...
but if you do end up going with the yellows and stock springs, this is a superb set up for H-stock. you can even have them revalved from Koni.
honestly, take the SVT out and flog it around until you get a handle of the car in stock form, then you can tweak it from there. The stock suspension isn't the worst, and isn't terrible for a stock class.
