There are two Focus wagons coming to the US. The C-Max and the Escape. Ford sells more Escapes than it does Foci. Losing the wagon demographic isn't important, at all. However, losing the small CUV battle would be suicide. As much as people complain about Ford not offering a Fusion or Focus wagon, numbers don't lie. In the US, Ford sells more than three times as many Escapes as Volvo sells vehicles. I would love a Mondeo/Fusion wagon, but I'll be lucky if I get the hatchback/slantback A7 clone. Ford's answer to, "Does that Focus come in a wagon?" is "Sure, it's called an Escape, how about a Red Carpet lease? We have $2000 in rebates and maybe even 0%."
