thanks, i need it for white & the clear. I got me a black from the neighboring town. i was on google. i see that the 11203 is the number for the different colors. i wonder if the first set is the same on all cans?
this is all i see in spray on line. but can even shows there is a white.
11203 black
11201 red
11209 clear
11207 ( ACE number is 11207-6 ) is the white. i found it. . oh to funny. i found it on on google. but when i clicked it took me to ACE web site.lmao

but rest is in dip. the white, yellow & blue. even got make your own color. maybe it can be put into a texture gun & sprayed. http://www.the5sstore.com/plasti-dip-multi.html
i kept seeing post about this stuff, now that i know what it is im going to go on a plasti dip spalooga haha im gonna do my eaps and my winters and maybe my midwing thats been needing paint before i put it on and my top rs spoiler to match the mid wing
^^^there was a link already posted in this thread somewhere lol but yeah thats crazy it looks pretty good too and if u get tired of it just peel it off ha
i did some more playing with plasti-dip. one of my side view mirror looked like crap so i thought what the hell, anything is better than it is currently. i also covered up some rusted areas...
Damn I don't have good pics but I spray plastidipped a tin cover from a cookie can and let it dry for about 1-2 weeks. I then sprayed over it with a red spray paint, some cheapo automotive type paint. It went on pretty damn nice.
The finish became a bit shiny but not like clearcoat shiny (without a clearcoat what do you expect? right?) I then proceeded to try to scratch it with a key like hard keying pressure and it did scratch the paint but nothing like the damage your car would take if it was done to the car. It cut all the way down to the metal and barely exposed it.
I scratched a different part of the can that didn't have plastidip or paint on it, the metal gets scratched pretty noticeably. It seems like this can protect against that too.
I will try to see if peeling it is any harder on Monday since I don't have it with me. I forgot it at work because I was showing my coworker and we were trying to experiment with it
thanks, its real easy to do. i also had a rust spot below one of these so i got that part too. its not as good as grinding rust, priming, paint clear etc but its far better than just seeing rust. from a few feet you don't realize theres rust there.
If it wouldn't be too much trouble, does anybody think they could photoshop the first picture with a white suede paint job??
I've been thinking about doing that to my stock 15's but i'm not sure how it would look on white. [dunno]
Oh and i know "that's exactly what Plasti-Dip is for, to try things out" but i dont wanna run to my Lowe's and pick up 3 cans of the stuff and then take a whole day with the project to not even like it at all.
I do hope you plan on informing the new buyer about the rust. That would be pretty crappy to sell the car knowing about the issue and trying to hide it without telling them.
Lol I have that same idea jus didn't have time today
