for lightweight, i actually own a Carbon fiber company. and am making interior panels and working on the stock SVT body kit. hoods/hatches are already available. aftermarket support is phenominal!
the wheel base is a bit different between the sedan and hatch, however, the hatches all have the same wheel base.
i will be running the Targa when i finish my rally car for rally america which i know passes all tech for running. but if you are looking for a sick rally car, the focus is the way to go! (2wd of course)
