I'm of the opinion that any 'diet' you choose will ultimately fail.
You need a lifestyle change.
I'm also of the opinion that there's no need to cut out a certain element of your diet short of the BS and processed crap...i.e. don't cut out most the fat, or most the carbs. Your body NEEDS these. Instead, watch how much of each you eat, and make sure what you do eat are GOOD. There is a thing as good carbs and good fat. Your body NEEDS these to function properly.
That and just not eating as much...there are people who lost weight eating strictly donuts and ice cream because they limited their intake to 1500 calories per day. That's obviously not healthy but it proves the point...don't eat as much, and eat better foods and the weight will come off.
But anyways my main point is to not diet...but change your lifestyle. Because if you diet, the minute you go off the diet the weight WILL come back. I know this, I've done more diets then most, with no results. It's about making permanent changes.
