Whatever happens as a result of running the tires is ok aka a rub in the liner, etc. But def no rolling of fenders.
Im still leaning towards the 225/45-17. Everything I have seen is the more rubber the better, especially in a 2800 lb car. I will need the extra grip to compensate for some lost camber! Thankfully I am use to driving a FWD and a mcstrut car, so Im looking to a quick learn.
Im still wondering about the 18mm front bar. How hard is it to oversteer a focus with the Stock SVT bars on?
Typically the higher performance model (SVT for example) slap on larger bars to compensate for the higher horsepower, better handling, etc so drivers dont kill themselves who dont know what they are doing. My old Saab was definitly an example of this . . . the Viggen aka SVT model had bigger ones to help the driver out. Im wondering if the 18mm front and 21mm rear might give me the rotation im looking for.
