Nope. Not on a properly maintained newer car. Just a waste of gas, time, money and contributing to the pollution problem.

As long as you got good oil pressure, good fluid levels, and a daily driver (not one that's been sitting for an extended period or one that's waiting for the green light on the 'xmas tree' at the strip on a -10 F day just after start-up) you can put it in drive and drive away.

Replaced #4 Piston, Rings, Rod+Bearings, AERA Re-Manufactured Cylinder Head and a light Hone. Then CLEANED the hell out of everything.
