Here is Co where we get the fulll 4 seasons... spring and summer no warm up. Colder fall mornings and winter mornings if its at 35ish I will let it go for a few minutes and like many others have stated, drive easy till the heater and engine are warmed up.

On major cold days like single digits and below I llet it warm till the cabin is warm and the windshield it defrosted. If its too cold for me to want to move outside I dont figure my car whats to move either. So I give him a chance to wake up and be ready for work on those really cold days.
