ah thanks for the credit

trimming the plastic bit that holds the boot on isnt a big problem

i never tried it but for the ultra budget minded do this and cut a little off the top of the stick/ rethread. should work great and thats all the steeda is (which i picked up for cheap so i couldnt pass it up)

and for a knob i suggest a round roush knob, ive had mine for years now and it feels great, has a nice weight to it and IIRC cost me $25 when i got it.. that is if theyre still out there
