Well I did my first test with my car (not actually my girlfriend's 09 Focus), which is a 2008 Scion xB. I lined the inside of the hood under the panel some fiberglass and compressed it in there, and already the engine sounds a lot quieter. When I really get into this process of sound deadening the whole car, I'm going to rip apart the dash and line the inside there to help dampen that sound a little more. Nothing like the comforting sound of a V4 as I try to accelerate to 80 on an interstate.
