I have the same IAT sensor... waiting to go in the same place... but alas it is chilling in a box on my desk.
Was the threading in the manifold already right, or did you have to retap?
Are you tuning/running from the new IAT only, or are you running from the stock one & just using the new one as a monitor during tuning? If the former is the case, did you just cut the IAT wires from the MAF and re-route them?
Also, lol at the block heater... mine is ziptied up underneath my intake box.
