elevation will play a factor. a trick i used to do was drive up to the mountains to pick up people and things. reset my ecu while im up there and let it re-learn all its mapping points and get used to the higher altitude. afterwards i would directly drive back down after it finished a drive cycle and go to the track. always seemed to make it go faster when i would directly take it back to low altitudes after coming from the mountains.
