I have to post a thank you here... my new tilt telescope column came today... Was from an 05. Went into my 06 easily. Took about an hour start to finish! Your instructions made things go very smoothly and quickly. I would have figured it out, but you saved me a lot of effort and swearing with your thorough and helpful post and pics.

The car fits me much better now. I am 6'1" and am more legs than arms. Now that I can tilt and telescope I can get further away from the dash and pedals. Much more comfortable. That was a mod definately worth the time and effort.

I paid $48 for the column on ebay, and $18 for shipping. Best $70 I ever spent.

I also purchased a new shift knob. It is a takeoff from a 2008 Mustang GT. Leather with a brushed insert. I will install that once I get a steeda shifter to put it on. Can't wait!

Having a ball making this car my own, and it is a kick to drive.
