I still don't really see how you can say its a testament to the strength of the stock axles when only two very high 10sec passes were made. Again the 60fts on those passes were comparable to what a stock hp Focus can pull and the fact that only 2 passes were made at the "700hp +" power level really hurts the credibility of that claim.

Well since you don't run at the drag strip I can't imagine you stressing the stock axles. Even if you were to launch your Focus with sticky tires on the street it wouldn't be nearly as hard on the axles compared to launching at a well prepped drag strip. To prove my point look at the video below. 5500rpm 2 step launch and the axles didn't break. Why? Because it was on the street and the street doesn't hook like the track.
