Mostly pattern failures at 60kmis, to wit:

alternator VR plug - pattern failure
PCV hose collapse - pattern failure
passenger footwell water leak/passenger side cowl - pattern failure
ignition lock cylinder - anticipated pattern failure
trunk lock cylinder - pattern failure
HVAC blower motor resistor - pattern failure
front sway bar end links - pattern failure
valve cover gasket oil leak/thermostat housing water leak - pattern failure

I had to switch to Akebono ceramic brake pads to get any life out of the rotors. The OEM pads ate the original rotors early and dusted like crazy. The MTX fluid was changed from the original ATF to Ford "Honey" which was by far and away the best mod I made to the car. The lower radiator shrouds had to be replaced after a close encounter with a tall curb. The radio antenna was snapped off while clearing snow and had to be replaced.

The beauty of these forums is that they allow one to quickly identify these pattern failures and anticiapate or solve them.

Would I do it again? Yes, in a heartbeat. Peppy, 35mpg, and out-handles cars three times its cost and has leather seats to boot!
