To me, its worth it. My goal isn't the fastest ride in town, or the flashiest, but a truly fun driving experience. I know the potential is there. I've always felt as though I've had to bleed on a car a little to make it mine, and the Focus has been christened. Sure I'm throwing some money away by modding, but look at just about anyone's spending habits and you'll see them throw some money away somewhere (gambling, shoes, ATV's, Jetskis, ect.). It may be slightly detrimental from a financial standpoint, but if it puts a grin on your face when you're running errands- totally worth it! When I'm working on installing a mod, I'm generally having a blast, and so is my son, who asks all kinds of car questions and hands me the wrenches. (He REALLY likes getting dirty w/ dad!)
