^^I couldn't speak more highly of my experience with the Evo schools. Definitely worth it!
The big key with the tight turns is to look back to the next gate after it and see what angle you will need comin out of the turn. If you can see the neccesary exit angle, the line through the turn will become self-apparent. It's not at all uncommon for me to be looking over my shoulder on my way into a sharp turn, and sometimes through it as well.
Don't waste another minute waiting on parts, or anything else. Just get out there and start racing! You will suck at first, and you will be slower than many other cars, but the only thing you will regret is not starting earlier...
