1) '04 SVTF
2) $16,400
3) 90 miles
4) HID's, Audiophile, Winter Package, Sunroof. Basically loaded sans Euro Package.

Purchased in 9/04. Took me all of ten minutes to agree on the price as they had a total of five SVTF's sitting on their lot - for at least 5 months. Purchased the 5yr/100,000 mile extended warranty for $600 extra. Wrote them a check for 10K and paid it off the next month.[:D]

IMO, still the smartest car purchase I've made to date. I still like the damn thing too![thumb]

2002 sonic blue
3,000 and it was 12,000
55,000 miles
2 year powertrain warranty

this car was owned by an older guy who kept the car in the garage at all times plus it's in cali so no salt or snow. all 55 000 miles were freeway. kinda of a good deal huh. theres more to it tho...I traded my old focus for 3,200. then ford knocked off a crap load for my troubles because of what happened to old car. sooo i only ended up paying

I bought my 2003 brand new in March of 04. Sticker was right around $21,000 (Audiophile and winter package). With the rebate and my employee discount, it was just under $16,500.

7200?????!?!?!?!?!?!? 18k miles how do u pull that off?
well, the car has a 4 inch dent that will cost a few hundred to fix.

I saw the ad posted on "craigslist" locally, called the owner, drove down an hour later to see it, called him back later to make an offer, and picked it up the next morning.

honestly, I dont think the guy did research on what they were selling for- he diddn't know much about the car, just that it was fun to drive.

I think he just looked up what other focus's were selling for, and added a little bit.

thats why I had to move so fast on the sale- before soneone else told him what it was worth.

tee hee hee. I know I'll burn in hell somewhere, but at least I'll be driving my SVTF there.

I bought mine 2 years ago this month.

At the time, it had 25K miles on it, perfect condition, and i got it for 10900. Was the only nice thing working at a chevy dealership when a ford i liked came in on trade and they wanted it gone. I think i was told it was only $300 over what they payed for it so i got a killer deal. And as far as i know, atleast on this site, its the oldest SVT at #0024 in 02, one of the first 25 to roll off the line.

I bought my SVT Used.

I had a 2005 ZX3 SES I got for 9800+ Tax tag ect coming out to 11k. I payed for it for about a year when I saw the SVT on the used lot when my car was in for maintenance. I owed 9500 on my 05 and they where asking 18.6 for the SVT. I worked @ the dealer so heres how that went: Gave me 9100 for the 05 and gave me the SVT for $14.5 so I rolled a measly 400 bux over from the 05. I also put 1K down which killed the roll over and I didnt have to pay a single dealer fee because I worked there @ the time. I got one hell of a deal for the car to me. Here is the specs.

1. 2004 Focus ZX5 SVT EAP
2. $14,500
3. 9,900 Miles
4. Came with 5% tint all around including 60% tint on windshield and Limo on the sunroof, Has a Steeda STS alreay in it. Also has a CAI and billet shorty antenna. Also I got the 10/100K extended warentee which he had purchased for it was X-fered to me. I also got 3 free tanks of gas and brand new tires.

I didnt think it was a bad deal.

2003 SVTF ZX3 Comp Orange EAP
Used: 27,000 miles
Puchased: 9/05
Asking: $12,500
Paid: $9000

Saw it online at Cars.com, found out the dealer was in Montanna. Got more photos of it, full service log, and sent them a deposit. Bought a one-way flight out there for the test drive and final paperwork. Paid cash, took the keys, had them Fed-ex the title to my house, slapped some temp tags on it and drove 2344 miles back to MD.

Right place at the right time. It was sitting on the lot for ~75 days before I saw it, at 90 days they were going to wholesale auction it. Made an offer above wholesale value and they took it. Only thing is the front bumper is a stock ZX3 bumper painted to match, oh well... I got so caught up in the deal I didn't even realize it till I was in Minnesota.
