Guys ive read that if i had to turbo my st 170 and run very low boost , like 0.4 bar boost the black oak will compensate with the fuelling issues , could some one shed some light , i have a garret t 2.5 turbo , getting a tune in SA for the st st 170 is virtually impossible unless i go with a management system which im not keen on

I hear there are multiple firmware updates to some of the 2012 Focus' systems. The only ones I know of are:
Transmission, obviously.
ABS
What else should I be asking them to do outside of my list of little things a squeak here and there, speaker rattle, etc...

I have an 02 sedan model and my battery light has been coming on intermittently. I've also noticed a loud whirring sound. Had the alternator checked - its at 12.9 while idling, and the battery checked out good.
What could be my problem?
I'll also add - I am very much not a car person - so I need it simple or well explained...
